They Sold Us a Tacoma, And, Earned Our Trust Buying a new vehicle can feel like walking into a room where everyone knows the rules except you. Handy Toyota was an unknown among the dealerships we had considered—some nearby, others far enough away to make us question whether the drive would be worthwhile. We arrived carrying the usual mixture of anticipation and caution, hoping for the right truck but watching for pressure, hidden turns, or the moment when the experience might become more about the sale than the customer. Jamie, the sales manager, listened when I asked him to recommend a good salesperson and introduced us to Jessie Turner. Jessie was knowledgeable and personable, although initially a little hard to read—which left me wondering how the experience would unfold. Then he bought me a Coke, listened closely to how I described the vehicle I wanted, and led us to a 2026 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 that met the expectations I had brought through the door. He did not try to steer us toward something we had not asked for. He simply paid attention. The next surprise came when we sat down with Samantha in finance. She was phenomenal. Every figure was handled meticulously, every detail explained thoroughly, and every question given room to breathe. There was no tightening pressure across the desk, no games with the numbers, and no sense that we were being hurried toward a signature. What is often the most intimidating part of purchasing a vehicle became one of the most reassuring. Before we left, we were given the names of the people who oversee servicing our Tacoma. The essential features were carefully demonstrated, and we were offered additional help without being overwhelmed by information we were not ready to absorb. Even as the hour grew late, Jessie, Jamie, and Samantha stayed to make certain the deal was completed properly and that we drove away satisfied—not merely processed. Yes, Handy Toyota made a sale that evening. But something more important happened. Fear gave way to relief, doubt was answered by consistency, and an unfamiliar dealership became the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting relationship. They are a good dealership over all, and a great selection of Muscle Cars. Kind of odd recently, they refused to work on my window issue, I went to Midas, and they inspected the door, and are fixing the regulator replacement next month. I bought the Car there, they should be able to do all of the Service needs.

It was time for a new vehicle. I checked out the handytoyota.com website and found my new car. A candy apple red Corolla, 😎, I love it! I called Jesse and let him know that I wanted that car. It was an incoming vehicle and he would let me know when it arrived. I got the call! My husband and I went to Handy's and took the Corolla for a test drive. Nice smooth ride and comfortable. As always, Jesse was great to work with. He came out and set up my phone with the console, radio, etc. Samantha in finance very efficiently went through the paperwork. I purchased a new Tacoma from Handy Toyota and I have to tell you they went above and beyond my expectations. Jake Smith a was my sales consultant; he was friendly, professional, and he made every effort to find the perfect vehicle to fit my family's needs. The truck was out front and ready to go. Which was nice on a hot day. I then met with Dennis the Finance Manger, it was a pleasure sitting down with Dennis to finalize all the paperwork. He too was friendly and professional and explained the paperwork in a way that made the rest of the transaction easy.
