Handy Toyota's Service & Auto Repair Menu
Toyota Car, Truck, SUV, and Large Truck Service in St. Albans, VT

One thing is abundantly clear to anyone who has ever owned a car, and it applies whether that vehicle was a new Toyota, used car, or even a $200 clunker:  you need to keep your car well-maintained if you hope to get to work and back, not break the bank at the gas pump, and ultimately if you wish to keep your investment alive.

That's why car service, auto repair, and general maintenance of any vehicle is tantamount to one's vehicular longevity, and to help you get a better understanding of what's involved in service at Handy Toyota of St. Albans, VT, located at 701 Highgate Road.  What's more we have several ancillary pages that will help you to get a better understanding of whether your vehicle belongs in one of the following service menus:  cars, small trucks and SUVs, or large trucks and SUVs.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the service schedules as per our Toyota-certified and factory-trained auto repair technicians' recommendations.  For more information on anything service related, contact fixed operations direction Joe Luneau by email or by calling us toll-free at (888) 594-1392.

Service schedules at Handy Toyota
Learn what each service entails at our St. Albans, VT Toyota dealership

Okay, so you have conceded that service and car repair is necessary - but what exactly needs to be done?

At Handy Toyota of St. Albans, VT we have grouped the majority of the standard, scheduled service and maintenance practices into three sections:  Service A, Service B, and Service C.  You will also notice later that there is a Service D, however this is for big mileage milestones like 55,000 or 105,000 miles and essentially ads some precautionary measures to make sure your Toyota vehicle or other branded car's odometer can roll over the next 50,000 miles.

Here is a brief breakdown of the Handy Toyota scheduled service plans.  Please keep in mind, though, that more service is always available.  Also, these Handy Toyota service plans are based off OEM, Toyota specifications, albeit simplified for the sake of our customers.

Service AService BService C
Oil and filter change
All fluids are checked and topped off
Tire inflation/adjustment
Air filters are checked for cleanliness
Fittings are lubricated
Windshield wipers are checked for potency

Additional Information:
Service A is your basic scheduled maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fluid inspection and replenishment, tire checks, and so forth.  This service schedule will ensure that your car runs optimally in between your meetings with your friendly neighborhood Toyota service center.
Oil and filter change
All fluids are checked and topped off
Tire inflation/adjustment
Tires are rotated properly
Air filters are checked for cleanliness
Fittings are lubricated
Windshield wipers get checked

Additional Information:
Service B is very similar to Service A (as you've probably noticed), however our service team adds in another piece of the maintenance puzzle in the form of a tire rotation.  Just like the rest of the Service A and B checklist, this tire maintenance is important to keep your tires - a large investment in their own right - working like new, keeping you safe, and making them last longer overall.
Oil and filter change
All fluids are checked and topped off
Tire inflation/adjustment
Air filter and cabin air filter are replaced if necessary
PCV valves replaced
Windshield wipers are checked
Fittings are all lubricated
Additional Information:
Once again Service C is more preventative maintenance and auto care, however Service C houses a few options that may or may not be needed (and, if they are needed, we would ask the customer prior to performing these additional services).

During Service interval C, your Toyota air filter and/or Toyota cabin air filter could need replacing.  For example, if you live on a dirt road you will be more likely to need the air filter replacement than a driver who only drives on highways/pavement.  If you want to know more about these necessary Toyota parts, check out our genuine Toyota car parts page or contact parts manager Ray Quilliam by email or toll-free at (888) 447-8961.

More about Handy Toyota's
Toyota repair, service, and maintenance menu

While we have many, many customers from northern Vermont and greater Burlington, VT or even upstate New York and Plattsburgh, NY areas, there is still a chunk of the population that uses the Independent and Mom & Pop variety of service station (the Minekes, Jiffy Lubes, and local, non-dealer service stations of the world).  We're not here to discredit the skills of these technicians, however there is a reason why these places seem to be able to cut costs:  they do not have Toyota-trained technicians and genuine Toyota parts with which to work.

That's where Handy Toyota's service department and factory-trained service advisors and technicians come into play.  We have all the certification needed to ensure that no matter what the reason for your visit - from an oil change to full blown car repairs or Toyota tune-ups - we have the skill and more importantly accurate training needed to fix your specific Toyota vehicle's problem.  Why save five bucks on an oil change if you have to return, kill another two hours of your day, and suffer another $20 charge to get the leak fixed?  That just doesn't make sense.  If that doesn't have you sold, maybe this will:  Handy Toyota is a Toyota Signature-certified dealership; to keep Signature status, customer needs have to come first, and this isn't only the Handy Toyota philosophy but also that of Toyota Motors USA.

It's because of our commitment to customer satisfaction and the various questions we've heard in the past that we put this Toyota service menu together for your perusal.  Above, you will find all the information you need for a 5,000 to 150,000 mile intervals and the recommended service initiatives deemed pertinent by Toyota Motors.  We urge you to remember that pricing is not absolute/definitive:  prices can change, and realistically every vehicle's needs vary.  Don't be worried though, as this can work in your favor:  why pay for a tire rotation if you absolutely don't need one, right?

If you have any questions regarding parts and service, contact our parts and service director Joe Luneau by calling toll-free (888) 594-1392 or simply send Joe an email.  You can also request technical support by emailing the webmaster directly, or by trying our Live Chat program during normal business hours.

And finally, on behalf of everyone in the Handy Toyota service department, we thank you for giving us the chance to earn your business!
