I found the new Toyota vehicle I want - what do I do now?
Let's say, for example, you wanted the 4Runner. All you have to do is click the image and you'll be brought to the Build a 4Runner page where you can view color options, view model options, and get your ePrice.
I'm just starting the new car shopping process and I don't know what I want. What should I do?
If you're just entering the new car shopping world, this is where the Model Selector section will work wonders. Under Model Selector you have several options, each of which will help you pinpoint the vehicle that fits you best.
- SORT BY...
- Model - If you know what you're looking for, such as a Camry, Tacoma, Tundra, FJ Cruiser, or what have you, this is the choice for you. The model selection is also the default selection and what you will see when you enter the page.
- Price - When you sort by price you will see either high to low or low to high pricing schemes. This will generally start with the Land Cruiser and end with the Yaris or vice versa.
- MPG - Are you looking for the most fuel efficient, or maybe do you not care about fuel efficiency? Use this to find the new Toyota vehicle that suits you best.
- Horsepower - Similar to the MPG selection, if you're looking for all or nothing in terms of horsepower or even if you want a middle of the road power scheme, use the horsepower selector to align the vehicles accordingly.
- FILTER TOOLS...
- Body Style - for those of you looking for a minivan, truck, sedan, hatchback, and so forth, but aren't sure what model you want within a given scheme, this is your selection.
- Price - Sliding the price slider from either end will give you the optimal price range and show you vehicles you can afford thusly. Keep in mind, as mentioned, that either side of the slider will come in towards the middle which can give you a high and low end pricing idea. If you aren't sure what you can actually afford for an MSRP (suggested retail) be sure to use the Payment Calculator tool which will help give you a rough idea.
- Fuel Economy - Just like the MPG selection above you can slide the pointers to a maximum and minimum fuel economy rating as per the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). For example if you brought the minimum to 25 and the maximum to 35 you would see every vehicle within the Tacoma to Corolla range.
- Horesepower - Exactly as with the fuel economy rating you can adjust these sliders to show you, for example, only powerful trucks... or Tacoma's through V6 sedans... or whatever else you would like.
