Jordan Mosher - May 2011 Employee Spotlight

Employee Spotlight of the Month
Jordan Mosher - Sales Consultant

Handy Toyota has a certain caliber of person that we look for when hiring a new staff member, as does any company one would suppose.  Drive, determination, punctuality, a positive attitude, and someone who relates to the customers well are perhaps the building blocks of any great sales consultant, but rarely do these qualities come together in a perfect way.  Handy's was lucky enough to stumble upon a well-educated person of all these rarities and more in this month's employee spotlight, new sales consultant Jordan Mosher.

Jordan was born and raised in our small town of St. Albans, Vermont, although he currently lives in Milton, Vermont with his lovely wife.  That's right folks, an eligible bachelor no more, Jordan has found his life mate in his high school sweetheart whom he married at the tender age of 24, just a couple years after graduating from Lyndon State College in Lyndon, VT.

"I love spending time with my wife and our newly jointed families" says Jordan.  "I don't think many people get to sincerely enjoy just lounging about with their significant others nor the family time that comes with that, but we all get along great and have a wonderful interfamilial relationship."

When Jordan isn't selling cars, in fact, chances are he's hanging around his home in Milton with the misses.  "We watch a lot of sports, hockey, and football, movies, you know, just spending time together," says the 24-year old sales consultant.  "We don't take ourselves too seriously though," he chuckles, "we really like to watch goofy shows like Family Guy."

Speaking of hockey, Jordan has played for just about his entire life, playing for the SASA (St. Albans Skating Association) here in St. Albans, for BFA St. Albans in high school, and even throughout college at Lyndon State.  When he's not on the ice scoring goals, Jordan likes to watch his favorite team the NHL's Colorado Avalanche do the scoring.

"If I was a Toyota vehicle," he begins, "I'd have to say I would be the 2011 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Edition."  When asked to expand upon the rationale behind the choice, Jordan tells us "well it's rugged and adventurous, and though it's not the most gigantic SUV in the garage it has more than enough power to suffice" he finishes with a laugh.  Indeed folks, this fellow looks as though he can throw his weight around, so let's be happy he's a mild mannered guy that isn't engaging in bar fights but rather spending time with loved ones!

As for his dream vehicle, Jordan says it's a tossup between a new 2011 Jeep Wrangler which he's always wanted and the first vehicle he fell in love with here at Handy's, the 2011 Toyota 4Runner Limited with leather, navigation, and the whole nine yards.  "Yeah, I always really wanted a new Jeep Wrangler" Jordan says, "but I don't know if it's because my desk is in the parking space next to the 4Runner [when I started], but seeing it a quarter inch from my face every day and... well, I'd like one, let's put it that way!"

All things considered, the future is bright for Mr. Mosher, a man this writer has known for many years and can adequately say is a gentle spirit with a sponge-like intellect that will do him proud at Handy's.  With the evolution of our sales floor continuing as the Handy Toyota personnel you've known for years gets on in age, young men like Jordan are the quality of person we want representing the facade of Handy Toyota.
