Jami Lapan - Internet Sales Consultant

For those of you not up to date on the goings on in the cyberspace realm, the automotive industry was revolutionized years ago by the internet, just after the dot com crash of the millennium's change.  In today's world the automotive-internet scene is used for extensive research by the prospective buyer:  price-matching, feature intel, service plan-pricing, and much more.  All the same, customers still want to know there is a real, live human being on the other side of the machine; that's where Handy Toyota's Employee Spotlight for October 2010 comes in.  With today's market continually gaining ground on the internet, Internet Sales Consultant Jami Lapan becomes more important to our survival with each passing day.

Jami was born in St. Albans, Vermont in 1986 and has forever spent her life here.  Her career in Internet Sales began not long ago on August 13th, but she's quickly carved a niche with her customers and the Handy Toyota family alike.  Those who know Jami are aware of her affection towards anything stylish or luxurious, as evidenced by her self-likening to the all new 2011 Toyota Sequoia.  "Just like me" she jokes, "it's classy and fabulous!"



Ms. Lapan also holds the trophy for being the most spontaneous of our close knit group.  "Yes I'm very random," she claims.  "One day I woke up, got out of bed, and left for Virginia beach.  I just felt the need" she justifies with a straight face.  She's also quite unique in that she doesn't own one pair of flat shoes.  "I only wear heals" Jami explains, which one would suppose is in line with her classy flair.

During high school in Franklin County, Vermont, Jami also found her footing in her true love's arms:  dance.  "I love to go dancing in clubs, but not like you see in the films; more of the stuff you see on TV competitions" she explains.  During school, Jami danced competitively and did well in her endeavors.

Following her assertion of a love for luxury, the vehicle Jami would like more than any other is a diamond indeed.  "If I could have anything" she begins, "I'd have to say a Bentley Continental GT; you know, something cheap" she jests.  She also has big dreams, hoping to someday leave her home state of Vermont for a life of greater possibility.  "I'd like to end up somewhere super-chique like Los Angles or Hollywood.  Somewhere famous--to get famous."  It's refreshing to see someone who isn't stagnant in their mid-twenties as is the norm in many circles and to see someone still dreaming nor giving up on dreams past.  Jami continues "I'd also like to travel.  I want to see standard places like Hawaii and what not, but I also have my own destinations in mind like Belize.  And to be honest, I want to go have fun in Vegas, at least once!" she laughs.
