Dan Beaulieu -
Vehicle Reconditioning Specialist Handy Toyota - April 2011 Employee
Spotlight
Every dealership in the entire United States and hopefully
the world along with every single customer that ever walked, walks, or
will walk through the doors has one thing in common: when a
new car is delivered to the owner, it needs to be clean. Let's
face it folks, this isn't even a "rule" perse as much as common sense
and something that's expected. After all, who in their right
mind would drive off in a new Toyota after paying for such in investment
with a dirty floor or some such?
That's where this month's employee
spotlight comes into play. Our Vehicle Reconditioning
Specialist is perhaps the best vehicle detailer in the entire state of
Vermont, and any of you who have driven off our lot in a new Toyota
vehicle in the past year can surely attest to this.
But what makes this
amazing employee, Dan Beaulieu, tick? Well you, I, and the
rest of us are in luck! Because now we'll all find
out!
Born, raised, and residing in Franklin County, Vermont for
his full 38 years, Dan Beaulieu is the stuff that great companies are
made of. Always smiling, always performing at his fullest with
a sweat covered brow, and never wavering in the quest for more to do,
without employees like Dan as the backbone of the organization we would
never make it in the automotive world. Further, there is
nobody I've ever met that's easier to get along with or more willing to
accommodate you, whether it's something simple like holding the door for
you, finding you something you need, or simply begging for more to
do. In short, Dan is a great, great guy.
Dan lives in St.
Albans with his wife currently (his wife is an excellent cook by the
way!), and enjoys spending time with her and their five
children. When Dan isn't working at Handy's or hanging out
with his large family, he likes to go four-wheeling, fishing, and
camping. Though he says he and his wife don't plan on having
any more kids, he is certainly a proud papa and glad for each and every
one of them.
As I started, Dan has been here for just about a year (in
June of 2011), and in that time he has transformed the way people view
their new Toyota cars, trucks, and SUVs. Even though people
from St. Albans, Highgate, Swanton, Enosburg, Burlington, and beyond
have been coming into Handy Toyota for years, there was an instant show
of approval when Dan began cleaning and detailing the cars before
delivery. We constantly hear praise for Mr. Beaulieu as people
exclaim that the car looked 100% better than when they ordered
it--that?s saying a lot of course, because who drops 12, 20, or 40
thousand dollars on a car if it isn't seemingly immaculate
anyway? Somehow Dan finds a way to make these Toyota vehicles
shine even brighter, and for that we all thank him--employees, owners,
and customers alike!
I asked Dan the typical vehicle related
questions, and his answers were, for lack of a better term, perfectly
"Dan."
"If I could have any vehicle, I'd like a brand new 2011
Dodge Ram 2500HD," Dan says. "I've always owned a Dodge and I
love them, so there's no need--yet anyway--to change it up." I
continued to ask what vehicle he's most like, and of course his answer
was perfect: "Definitely the 2011 Toyota Tacoma TX
Pro. It never quits, and it looks nice!" he said
half-jokingly.
So as Dan closes out his first year with Handy Toyota, we
thank him for all the amazingly spotless and visually stunning Toyota
vehicles he's churned out over his months with our St. Albans Toyota
dealership. Further, we hope to have Dan around for a long,
long time, and for that he's our Employee Spotlight for April of
2011!
