Cooper CS4 Touring Information

Cooper Touring CS4 T-Rated Tires
at Handy Toyota's Service Center

The Cooper Touring CS4 T-Rated tire, perhaps one of the best performing tires on wet roads, are readily available at Handy Toyota's service and car repair department.  Using a silica thread compound, these excellent tires stick to the road even when the road is moist, by combining that silica compound with a carbon black compound, which allows for unprecedented traction.  This keeps you and yours safely on the road for the entire lifespan of the Cooper CS4 tire set.  Not only does the coupled silica tread compounds keep you firmly on the road where your car belongs, but tests have shown that it actually extends the life of a tire by up to 12% when compared to inferior brands.

The Cooper CS4 tire also utilizes the trademarked Cooper Tires ventless technology which gives it a premium appearance at all times, and the CS4 touring tire uses what Cooper Tires calls R-tech Construction, a method by which nylon belts are intricately positioned to provide minimal flat spotting which improves the distribution of the tire wear.  As the tire gets used on the road, specifically at highway speeds of fifty miles per hour or more, the nylon belts heat up, adding to the R-tech's value even further by counteracting the warming properties of friction better than other tire brands.

If these statistics were not enough to interest you, perhaps this will:  Cooper Touring CS4 T-Rated tires come with an 80,000-mile warranty, giving you even deeper peace of mind.  And when you purchase tires, the only thing that matters is safety, durability, and peace of mind:  the Cooper Touring CS4 brand of tires gives you all that for the always-competitive Handy's price.

New and Used Toyota in VT
Service and Maintenance FAQs

Warranty companies, in some cases, can deny your seemingly legitimate warranty claims for failure to maintain your new Toyota vehicle or late model, low mileage used car vehicle as per your owner's manual.  Further, proper certified Toyota service and auto repair or maintenance at regular and recommended intervals can prevent costly repairs down the road.

Below, please find some key items regarding auto repair, service, and maintenance that you should always keep in mind.  For more details, check out our service menu, use our online form to schedule a service appointment, or simply send an email to the service advisor team.

Oil and Filter Service
Changing your oil and filter at the interval prescribed in your owner's manual - and it's imperative that you check your owner's manual because with today's synthetic oils, intervals can go up to 10,000 miles! - extends the life of your engine and your car's overall health.

Air Filter Service
Your Toyota car, truck, or SUV's air filter, just like an oil filter, gets dirty simply from being used.  In Vermont we tend to have clean air, but even without all the smog of some places (which can make your air filter's life shorten) you will still build up a lot of debris like pollen, dirt from unpaved roads, salt and sand on a constantly plowed winter road in Vermont, and more.  As the air filter gets clogged with dirt, bugs, and other debris, the lack of air literally chokes the engine an creates a "rich" content of gasoline; in other words there is too much gas being burned, not enough air gets through, and the required balance thereof is all out of whack.  This will not only burn extra already expensive gasoline, but the engine can and will lose power as things worsen.

If that didn't help you see the need for a clean air filter maybe this will:  changing a clogged filter can improve gas mileage by up to 15%!  That's 1.5 extra miles for every 10 mpg, or 15 cents per gallon less you'll pay per 10 mpg!  With a car like the Prius, that's over 50 cents per gallon you will either waste or save... per gallon!

Tire Maintenance
Everyone knows shopping for new car tires are expensive, but most people think they have a certain timeframe that tires should last.  Did you know that proper tire maintenance can minimize treadwear, thus extending tire life?  As an added bonus, proper tire maintenance can increase fuel economy and keep you safer!  Remember, the only part of the entire Toyota vehicle and only safety device actually making contact with the road is your tires.

Tire Rotation
Tires wear differently depending on how you drive, but it also depends on where they're placed on a car.  For instance if your front-right strut was busted, that same tire could be bearing more weight and wear more quickly than the rest.  Proper tire rotation maintenance at Handy Toyota of St. Albans, VT can keep you safer once again while preserving an investment like a new set of all-season tires or winter tires... as long as you rotate them according to the owner's manual of your specific Toyota vehicle or used car.  As such, your best bet is to get your tires rotated by an authorized Toyota service technician.
