The Rising of Fuel Costs and Carbon Emissions Means a Rise in the Need of EVs and Hybrids

The auto manufacturers are tripping over themselves attempting to bring EVs and traditional fuel-efficient vehicles to the market.  The Obama administration has mandated higher corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards for vehicles sold in this country.  For manufacturers that do not meet these standards, steep fines will be incurred.  In essence, they will not be viable and in my opinion will have a very difficult time staying in business.  As the world economy strengthens, the?

Could a Hybrid Version of the Yaris Be in Toyota's Future?


When people think hybrid, they think Toyota-this isn't my Toyota loyalties shining through either, as for years the word Prius has been synonymous with the former.  Even when the Honda Insight released parallel with the Prius, everyone jumped on the Toyota bandwagon and praised the greatness that was the world's first mass-produced hybrid vehicle.
