Prius v to World: Go Big or Go Home

Anyone who knows anything about Handy Toyota and our blog knows we're really excited to see the all new Prius family come out over the course of the 2012 model year.  Toyota Motors is soon to unveil the first of these in the Prius Plug-in, so before we get into today's topic let's engage in a brief refresher course regarding the upcoming Prius family.

Toyota's "Ideas for Good" - The Rollercoaster Project

One of the most fun-looking of Toyota's Ideas for Good, a campaign in which customers submitted ideas and thoughts on how to use Toyota's class-leading technologies, such as the Hybrid Synergy Drive system, for "good."  This "good" could be anything that promotes health or well being for a number of items such as football players (as seen in the idea to save football players from concussions) or Mother Earth, simply as long as?

Prius Competitors? I think not

The new 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid is said to have a mile per gallon rating of around 44 mpg city, highway, and of course combined, which is a pretty nice set of numbers I'll happily agree.  This 2012 Honda Civic hybrid is, however, no match for the 2011 Prius, the latest generation of the Prius, which gets a superb and still unbeatable 52 mpg city, 48 mpg highway, for a combined 50 mpg.

Why I Love the 2011 Corolla

You have to love the all new 2011 Toyota Corollas-I know I sure do!  First, they have the look of a mini Toyota Camry which is a nice change of pace, but more importantly the iron horse of the Toyota lineup is already here at Handy's for your viewing and/or test-driving pleasure.  Stay tuned for Presidents' Day special announcements regarding this fabulous, just released sedan, as they should be here soon.
