I enjoyed one of my two weeks of vacation this week past, and it was a good one to say the least.  Via an initial reunion on Facebook with some long time friends, my wife and I me up with them.  They visited us in Vermont and we did some general catching up and had a great time.  Last week also marked Vermont's first bona fide heat wave in several years.  To cool down we did the Ben & Jerry's thing, went through Smuggler's Notch, had lunch on the Waterfront, and took a trip to New York.  All…
