Toyota's 100 Cars For Good campaign heats up

In 2011, Toyota initiated what you certainly remember as the "100 Cars for Good" initiative, a charitable effort to assist 100 out of hundreds of non-profit organizations around the United States get the mobility they so desperately needed and deserved.  Based on the Toyota Motors USA Facebook page and the 100CarsForGood.com website, users across the country could specify who they thought was most deserving of a new car and the winners were given their choice of new Toyota vehicle - from Tundra's to Sienna's, Matrix hatchbacks to Prius hybrids, anything the winner deemed necessary was the prize they were given.  Best of all, the so-called "losers" of the group weren't losers at all; any organization that didn't win one of 100 Toyota vehicles was given a cash prize as a thank you for their time.

In a surprise move (to some extent), Toyota reinvigorated the 100 Cars For Good program for 2012, calling it 100 Cars for Good part two, once again giving hundreds of charities across America the chance to vote for their favorite or the most deserving charity.  The voting opened on Monday, May 14, 2012, with one winner being named daily.  This means you're not too late!

Go to 100CarsForGood.com or apps.facebook.com/carsforgood to learn all about the various charities including one to two-minute videos, organization descriptions, and more.
