What a great day-how often do I start a blog out with that, eh? Why is it a great day? For two excellent reasons and the more exciting of the two gets top billing.
(Drum roll?) I finished cleaning my apartment! The bathroom has been scrubbed eight times and every other surface in the apartment was given at least a quadruple washing. If you read either of my ranting blogs on the Handy Cars' Wordpress, you'll know my method of washing:
Another week has ended and Mother Nature is starting to display her pallet of rich colors on the landscape. Fall is officially here and how beautiful this time of the year is. I love the four seasons that Vermont gives to us; even the tough winter days have beauty that I have come to love and appreciate. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.
Last night Karen and I had our four grandchildren overnight. We started the evening out in the yard doing all kinds of activities: riding play-cars, swinging, playing ball and just running all…
How great has the start of BFA's Varsity
Football team been so far? I think if you plan on attending the
upcoming game against Hartford you will be treated to a great battle. I
believe the match is on home turf, over at Collins Perley Sports
Complex's football field. Make sure you plan to come out and support
the home team, not to mention get some quality entertainment at a very
reasonable price.
This
past Friday I attended the Camelot musical at St. Albans' City Hall on
Main St....
Those of you who enjoy NASCAR were undoubtedly aware of the fact that the official racing syndicate was in Loudon, New Hampshire this past weekend for a full weekend of racing, culminating in the Camping World Truck Qualifying race, won by Kyle Busch (forgive me race-fans if this is inaccurate, I'm only going off published documents as I have no attention to the sport personally).
E-Commerce Manager of Handy Cars store Handy Toyota Adam Luneau and Handy Chevrolet's Sales Manager Pete Obuchon were lucky enough to get a chance to attend the event, which is more surprising then…
All Toyota dealerships in the United States, like Handy Toyota - 39 South Main Street, St. Albans, VT 05478 are selling off new and pre-owned Prius cars like hot cakes. But this isn't the only place Prius is a big hit.
Toyota's Prius was the top selling car in Japan during August for the 16th straight month, according to The Associated Press. Incentives for green vehicles continued to boost sales of the hybrid in that country.
Toyota wants to produce a new, more inexpensive Yaris model to become
the most affordable small car out there.
According to
Reuters: Toyota is planning to produce small, affordable high-mpg
hybrids. The downsizing of hybrids, at first in Europe and Asia, could
represent the technology's shift to mainstream global markets where
economies of scale would mean dramatic increases in hybrid
production.
On a late Friday afternoon it is time to jot down a few thoughts outlining the week that is quickly coming to a close. The sun is finally making its way out after a couple of days of shower activity. It appears by all accounts that we are in for a gorgeous weekend. Time to focus on getting all the little winter preparation items done so when the snow comes we are ready for good old fashioned Vermont winter.
This week was very productive. I am happy to say that all departments here at Handy Toyota have been busy. The…
Soon my wife and I will embark on our seventh cruise: our idea of a perfect vacation. We love the ocean, we love to eat, I like to drink, we love to be entertained, I like the casino, and we both the blue waters of the Caribbean. To make it even better the cruise leaves port out of New Orleans, Louisiana, and both my wife and I have wanted to see New Orleans at some point. With that said, my wife and I are counting the days until we leave for our piece of paradise. We will finish out the…
Welcome back Handy Fans and Friends! I sincerely hope everyone's week has been to their liking thus far, cruddy weather aside of course. Even after 25 years in Vermont it never ceases to amaze me how quickly we go from scalding hot, muggy summer to ultra dreary, chilly fall. I guess that IS Vermont in essence though, is it not? Anyways, I thought I'd take a bit of time today to let you?
What a blast! As any of you who read my last blog know, I was one of a select group (a total of 4 that is) that got asked to attend a live broadcast of a Dealer.com webinar, a treat indeed.
I got down there at around 12:30 p.m., and was instantly treated like a celebrity. That was my first impression of everyone I dealt with, even the higher-ups, and by time I left that sentiment was ten-fold. Those guys and gals are so laid back; it's really quite a cool and unique environment. And like…
