2010 Toyota Tundra Limited in St. Albans, VT

The 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited
The King of Kings

As a Toyota dealership, we're naturally around a lot of Tundra's.  You would think the sense of awe that comes from turning the key and revving one of these powerful, class-leading trucks would get to be something less than exhilarating, but it doesn't.  In fact, somehow it seems to get better every time.

For those of you who have taken a moment to check out Handy Toyota's 2010 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior page, you know how amazing these trucks can get.  In fact, the first time you see a Rock Warrior up close, for those of you who have seen the numerous Rock Warriors we have on the lot or own one know all too well, that "first time" feeling comes right back to you as you ogle the wondrous craftsmanship in front of you.  Just like the first turn of the key in a Tundra, the Rock Warrior makes you feel more alive than ever--and that's just sitting in it!

Then comes along, not too often mind you, the 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited.  As the King of the Kings, this amazing vehicle sits on a throne reserved for the absolute best.  No imitators even get within the legendary status of this fantastic truck.

So what are you looking for?  Style; elegance; raw power to spare?  Or how about any of the other facets in which the Toyota Tundra is world famous for, loved from all over the planet, and made in truck heaven (a little place called Austin, Texas)?  Chances are if you're looking for anything but a specific, small sedan like the Yaris, this Tundra will not only fit those needs but make you wonder how you ever lived without that need fulfilled.

Welcome to the realm of the 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited:
A realm for royalty, and an exclusive realm it is.

The Perfect Storm of Power and Style

The 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited is undeniably the upper echelon of the best when it comes to anything in the realm of a full-size truck.  I'm sure many non-truck aficionados might take one look at the Limited and shake their heads in the assumption that it's nothing out of the ordinary, however while the Limited is aesthetically pleasing, you are not just paying for looks.  On the contrary, the engineers at Toyota have purposefully designed each component of this truck towards performance and comfort as well as safety and reliability.  Essentially, the Limited mixes practicality and performance into a unique amalgamation of affordability, luxury, and comfort.

When you first turn the key to one of these vehicles you will immediately feel the chassis vibrate slightly, and hear the prompt awakening of the beautiful chorus sung by the Tundra's monstrous 5.7-liter V8 I-Force engine.  Of course the rumble you feel is a byproduct of the engines 381 horsepower and the deep, rumbling resonance that follows is surely a testament to just that.  If one couldn't physically feel the raw power of the Limited's engine, you can certainly decipher it from its addicting sound.  True, this writer is a sucker for nearly anything that has substantial amounts of horsepower, but the 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited feels very different.  Compared to other full size pickups on the market, you will feel as though you have found something truly remarkable in the 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited.

The Interior:  Fit for a King, Rugged Enough for Abuse

When the time comes to pry yourself from the driver's seat, take a step back to absorb the masterpiece in front of your eyes, and one of the first things to stick out might be the interior with its luscious wood-grain trim.  Although it's not all-encompassing, it's strategically placed in key areas throughout the vehicle.  The dark, textured applique truly provides a look of elegance, a look you expect to find on a fancy, overpriced, foreign import, not the toughest truck on the road.  If that isn't enough, the leather seating arrangements are outstanding as well-the leather is pulled taught, providing the perfect balance between a firm yet very forgiving feeling; the vehicle equivalent of a night's rest on a memory foam mattress.  Furthermore, the Limited comes equipped with XM satellite radio and a premier JBL sound system, or an upgradable Bose speaker system.  Given the opportunity to experience either brands, mind you, and you'll be utterly blown away.  Like a concert hall, the interior of the Tundra Limited feels as if it has been sculpted for optimal sound quality.

The Exterior:  Stylish Curves on a Solid Frame

When one meticulously inspects the exterior of the 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited, it may look like your run-of-the-mill Toyota Tundra, but the trained trucker will notice the little things that make a huge difference when it comes to cosmetic appeal.  One of the first things you will notice is the prominence of the Limited's chrome package.  The "business end" of the Tundra sports a customized chrome grill with attractive chrome mirror components as well.  In fact, during a routine detail of this beautiful Tundra Limited, don't be surprised if you find yourself unable to resist the urge to grab a small bottle of wax, an applicator, and a buffing rag, and polish the chrome accents until they are flawlessly clean as a mirror! And, with a wide variety of customizable wheels and tires, the Tundra Limited gives the buyer the option to choose the tire that best suits the buyer's needs.   It also doesn't hurt that each one of these options looks sleek and aggressive, not to mention simply stunning when polished!

Furthermore, the Limited is equipped with the Toyota Racing Development (TRD) package.  As the name denotes, these are Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) racing parts that improve the raw performance of your vehicle.  Sure, while you may not be entering your new Tundra in any truck pulls (although you certainly could!), with Vermont's unpredictable weather, added boosts in performance are always a welcome addition.  For example, the customized TRD Off-Road suspension allows people who live in "out of the way" locations to easily navigate unconditioned roads in nearly any unflattering circumstance.  Add in ample ground clearance and shock absorption and not only is the ride comfortable, but the TRD components will lessen the overall wear and tear your truck experiences.

The TRD package also boasts a Limited Slip Differential (LSD) component, which provides assured high performance on adverse terrain.  By adjusting and distributing power and torque in a calculated manner, the Limited can get you out of nearly anything as long as there is traction on at least one of the wheels.

Safety:  Standard Features Galore

We've always assumed that large vehicles tend to be safer than smaller ones.  When you ask anyone who drives a full size pick up about why they do so, they'll frequently respond with, "I enjoy having the added security that something this size brings."  Essentially their assumptions are correct; the sheer size and mass of the 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited's nose translates to a high degree of safety.  With a rock solid chassis, the Limited is designed to absorb large amounts of structural shock and protect its occupants. On top of the Limited's structural integrity however, is an all inclusive safety package that encompasses nearly all portions of the vehicle. On the Tundra Crew Max 4x4 Limited (5.7L V8) for instance, the following aspects are standard:
